The client
A travel agency that sells travel packages put together by travel agents through travel agents. QAS specializes in travel to Australia, New Zealand and Africa. The existing website was severely outdated and did not provide the experience that QAS sells to its customers. The need was for a completely new website, with a new design, that aligns with what QAS wants to portray and showcases their products well. Lots of content to be accessible in a friendly way, QAS wants to present their products with passion.
The challenge
The existing website is very outdated, containing a lot of content that is difficult to access. The appearance does not fit with what QAS Travel wants to convey. A complex hyrarchy, inconsistency, and no experience.
A new website that fits the experience and ambitions of QAS and is attractive to visitors. It should exude an experience where content is accessible to both travel agents and customers.
Our Approach
Together with QAS Holidays, we went through a customer journey and translated the initial insights into a prototype in Figma. The products to different destinations were mapped by relevance. The navigation to their digital catalog was completely redesigned. Excellent imagery was selected for the experience that fits the trips QAS offers. After some joint design reviews, we were able to develop the solution based on a WordPress CMS.

Atlantis chose to do a customer journey with the client, involving our brand specialists. After all, a key objective is the right look and feel to the target market that suits QAS Holidays and their products. The newly designed navigation in the catalog was tested in a prototype realized in Figma based on the intended designs. With the client, the various phases were gone through in workshops before the solution was actually developed in WordPress.
The Result
The result is a website that exudes an experience and makes content accessible and above all fits with the image QAS Holidays wants to project. We are proud of that, and QAS Holidays very satisfied.
