BRANDING
LevelUp arrived as an unknown digital gaming advertising startup in need of digital presence built from ground up. They had a vision for a game-inspired, professional feel. We took their core ideas and shaped the brand concept.
"What I appreciated the most about Atlantis, is that you didn't approach this from a standing start. You really took the time to understand the people you were communicating with" - said Florian Toen, Co-founder at LevelUP Digital.
LevelUp arrived as an unknown digital gaming advertising startup in need of digital presence built from ground up. They had a vision for a game-inspired, professional feel. We took their core ideas and shaped the brand concept.
With the brand direction set, we developed the complete visual identity system. This includes making the logo, selecting colour palette and typography as well as creating the icons and imagery style. 'We love, love, love our new logo! The thought process and meaning behind it highly resonate with what we wanted to express,' said Florian Toen, co-founder of LevelUp. Feedback received, over. Now on to design and development!
You know the feeling, when the ideas are there, but you just can't articulate them? This is where we started with LevelUp. We went together through ideation and thought about structure, as we wanted to align best with their vision. Personal sales outreach is prevalent in digital gaming advertising industry. Thus, LevelUp sought a website as a resource for client engagement.
Since this was their first digital appearance, LevelUp didn't have any written or visual content ready for the website. You can see it as making a suit without having the measurements of the person that will wear it. In web design, the situation is quite similar. Arranging assets on a web page is highly dependent on their size. In such cases, the team's experience plays the biggest role. We tackled this by using stock imagery and text placeholders. Therefore, LevelUp's team knew what content and quantities were needed from their end.
